  • Another standout project for a valued client in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. Our team undertook the demolition of a substantial two‑storey detached house and garage to create space for a luxury bespoke six‑bedroom home, complete with basement, swimming pool complex, and a detached triple garage with studio annex.

    Construction began with bulk excavation and enabling works, including pile platform, mortar‑silo foundation and service diversions. Groundworks followed with attended CFA piling for both bearing and contiguous piles, a combination of reinforced‑concrete ground beams and trench‑fill foundations for the garage block, and a reinforced‑concrete basement incorporating SIKA waterproofing systems. Our teams then delivered substructure blockwork, precast suspended beam‑and‑block floor, foul and surface‑water drainage, and all incoming new services.

    In 2025, we were delighted to be invited back to deliver an ambitious hard and soft landscaping package, scheduled for completion in Summer 2026. More updates to come as the project progresses.
